That sounds like very wishful thinking.
The truth is, Sessions is doing nothing to go after the Clinton Crime Foundation. Key witnesses are still turning up dead, and Sessions does nothing. Further, even if he suddenly grew a spine, the media and the Democrats would lash him with "You recused yourself!" again, and again, and again.
Sessions doesn't have the moral constitution to fight back, and he left Trump out to dry only weeks into the Administration.
Sessions has to go. Now.
How do you know that? We now have a Justice Department that does not disclose active investigations.
People keep saying that, but Trump himself flip/flopped on prosecuting Hillary after he won the election, saying she'd been through enough. Does anyone know where Trump stands on that now? It is a political as much as a legal decision.
Sessions has had an illegal FBI to conduct any investigation with up to this point, so I’m not willing to lay all this on Sessions.
However, if he was thinking about recusing himself at the time of the appointment, then he should have told the president.
I was never a Sessions supporter for AG. I was thinking of Sessions staying in the Senate due to his seniority, or something to do with immigration.
Nobody is ever going to do anything against the Clintons. I wish I knew why.
Sessions does not have the toughness nor the vision to do this job. His betrayal of Trump...when he had to know they’d do ANYTHING to reverse the will of the voters ...takes the cake. How convenient Sessions’ stand-in appoints Mueller who is now looking into Trump’s business dealings. The coup de gras is intended...and if they don’t find it they’ll make it up. Was Sessions a dupe or something worse? I choose dupe.
I am frightened and ANGRY!
