[ Bill, you haven’t lived until you try my black bean, tofu, portobello burrito!

Hugs and kisses, Matt ]

You are not going to WANT TO LIVE if you have to spend the next few hours around someone who has been eating your methane making burrito.....

also methane burritos kill “muh earth” since they contribute to “muh gore-bull warming”

[ My dog can convert one pound of food into 10 pounds of poop. ]

Your dog is magic! It takes 1 pound of food and makes 10 pounds of PLANT FOOD!

A MIRACLE!

beef and other meats are generally raised on land which is not suitable for vegetable production.

I just saw a study which proves, beyond a shadow of doubt, that vegetarians produce more global heating gases than cows and coal plants combined. Settled Science.

Live with it.

Exactly.

And while pigs and chickens aren't ruminants, pigs can "follow" cattle and chickens can "follow" pigs and they all eat for free.

Obama told Americans they couldn’t set the thermostat at whatever they wanted.

Americans couldn’t just drive an SUV any where they want to go as he does.

Screw these little dic tators.

No more meat for imported produce for ANY damn world doomsday conference.

And within two year require them all to teleconference.

Their interest in this scam will wither when the goodies are gone.

I would bet a cookie that Matthew has never been on a farm.

I would invite him to come and work for me for a summer. It is only a mini-farm but he would learn a great deal about the simple fact that without raising animals you have a huge amount of vegetable waste and your soil will quickly deplete because you are not putting animal waste back into the soil.

A pasture is where a variety of plants grow and contribute to ecological diversity providing food for all kinds of critters. If I plowed and planted it with wheat all those critters would go hungry and the field would quickly become depleted of nutrients unless I spread chemical fertilizer. Which, according to the greenies, is also Bad For the Planet.

They are going to have to make up their minds.

Reminds me of a cartoon where behind a cow there is a pig eating the cow poop and behind the pig is a chicken eating the pig poop with a caption “Why I don’t eat chicken”....

LOL

With the marketplace making it easier to eat more plant-based foods, it’s no surprise that movements like “Meatless Monday” have taken off. Programs like bestselling author Mark Bittman’s “VB6” (eating vegan before 6 p.m.) are growing...These types of ideas have become mainstream.

Matthew, maybe in your trendy little metrosexual intercity enclave of studio apartments but not in the real world. You need to get out more.

Does it surprise me that the senior director of food policy for The Humane Society is probably a vegan? No.

We can try black bean burgers, and fill our sandwiches with sautéed Portobello mushrooms instead of turkey for a meaty, smoky texture and flavor.

How about if I try Portobello mushrooms *and* turkey for a meaty, smoky flavor!
