From what’s been reported so far, it appears it was a muzzoid “honor killing” - not proper for a woman to be in yoga pants at night by herself.
Honor killings are done to one’s sister or spouse because the family honor is at stake. She was neither sibling or spouse to the officer that shot her; his family honor was not at stake.
