It’s always nice when someone remembers your birthday, but Marc Lamont Hill -- a liberal commentator for the Cable News Network -- took the tradition in a bizarre direction on Sunday, July 26, when he commemorated the 70th birthday of Assata Shakur, a convicted murderer and known terrorist, in a series of tweets posted on Twitter.
Hill began the posts by declaring: “Happy 70th Birthday to Assata Shakur!!!!” He then quoted the woman, whose original name was Joanne Deborah Chesimard, as saying: “And i believe that a lost ship, steered by tired, seasick sailors, can still be guided home to port.”
"Everything you love is from a different world,” he also quoted. “Hungry, you turn up your nose at my peas and rice."
Despite his enthusiastic support of Shakur, Hill posted: “I'm in no emotional or psychological place to argue with anti-Assata folk today. Plus their argument is dumb.”
The commentator also stated: “I believe Assata Shakur is INNOCENT and WRONGLY CONVICTED of killing a cop. Therefore, my support of her doesn't mean I support cop killers.”
In addition, “99% of the people harassing me about Assata know nothing about her or the case,” he added. “If they did, they too would know she's innocent.”

It’s a travesty that the cop-killing beotch can celebrate more birthdays.

Liberals can afford to hate cops. They have access to their own armed guards. Whatever may happen to the rest of us without police is of no concern to them and is probably “deserved” anyway. As for the safety of the Negroes for which they express such concern, well, their concern is wholly for votes and to exhibit their own Virtue in the leftist sense. Whether they individually live or die is of no matter to them.

As she never has denied knowing that the two felons in the car were armed, nor took any steps to prevent them from using those firearms to shoot at police, and an officer was killed during the shootout, as well as one of the felons, she is, by law, guilty of two counts of murder (deaths that occurred during the commission of a felony which she participated in.)
By her own statements, the violence she undertook as a member of BLA was intended to create social and political change and targeted both civilian law enforcement as well as the general population. That is terrorism.
But again, let's extend EVERY benefit of the doubt, and switch the scenario around; let's say she was white with two felon homophobic good old boys in the car and there's video of JUST them shooting a gay man. Would this same reporter view her as being ‘wrongly convicted and innocent of all charges’? Absolutely not. They'd want her punished for the murder.
So yes, moron reporter, she is guilty as verified by the courts and a panel of her peers. She is a cop killing terrorist who has fled the country to Cuba, and you absolutely stink wishing a racist cop killing terrorist ‘happy birthday’ and then spreading the lies that she's somehow innocent.
He’s an Affirmative Action hire at CNN. You can’t get lower than that.
Hill’s racist hatred has been on public display for years. He’s no one to write home about.
LOL! I guess we can watch it whenever the next Sunday July 26th rolls around. The one this year is a Wednesday. Good catch. Probably meant the 16th and did a typo.
