Arizona voted for a full time healthy senator. Out of respect for the voters and tax payers, he should resign.
But he won’t.

Tim Johnson had his brain removed, but the Democrats had a 51-49 control of the Senate so Harry Reid wouldn't let Johnson resign. He was absent for close to year, rather than let a Republican governor appoint his replacement.

He’s 80 and a Vietnam torture and cancer survivor. Anyone who thought about it knew what they were getting in terms of health, or should have.
I think it’s more likely he’ll pass away than willingly quit.
