After six months of the most biased and dishonest liberal media attacks in US history President Donald Trump still stands at 50% or higher in the US counties that fueled his win in 2016.
A recent Harvard study found the liberal media gave Trump the most negative coverage of any president.
And this poll was published by the highly flawed and biased NBC News!
President Donald Trump’s job approval rating in the American counties that fueled his 2016 victory stands at 50 percent, according to a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll of these “Trump counties.”
Fifty percent of adults in these counties — consisting of Republicans, Democrats and independents — approve of the president’s job performance (including 29 percent who strongly approve), while 46 percent disapprove (including 35 percent who do so strongly).
By comparison, last month’s national NBC/WSJ poll had Trump’s overall approval rating at 40 percent.
If the liberal media is getting numbers like this it means Trump’s approval must be somewhere around 60% in these pro-Trump counties.

One of the best things Trump did was focus on an unfair media. Every time the media attacks him, it just serves to galvanize his supporters even more.
Its like a constant feedback loop.
And that’s all that matters, as long as Trump keeps his base happy, he’ll be fine.
Last night I turned on the “news”. They said that Trump’s approval was at 30%.
Not according to Free Republic I said and turned off the TV.
I’d give our President a B or C+ now. All b/c of his refusal to fire all the leftist cretins that Maobama put in pace throughout the deep state.

I see that we have plenty of denial on here about the challenges that Trump/GOP are facing for the 2018 midterms. That House race in Georgia should’ve been a cakewalk for the Republican. And then we see this in Oklahoma - i.e. https://www.usnews.com/news/best-states/oklahoma/articles/2017-07-11/polls-open-in-oklahoma-to-decide-3-special-elections?int=news-rec. This is not even counting some serious global economic risks that are brewing and could very likely tip over before November 2018 & then be used by the MSM to decimate the GOP in the midterms.
Now before you flame me I would like to suggest that you think more about waking up the morning after the 2018 mid-term Election feeling like Clinton felt in 1998 or Dubya felt in 2002 than in feeling like Dubya felt in 2006 or Obama felt in 2010. There definitely is a path to the GOP maintaining control of both Houses of Congress in the 2018 midterms. Be ahead of the curve on what’s going on. There are 240 GOP seats & 194 Dem seats right now (with 1 vacancy in a very strong GOP district) so the Dem’s are looking to get a net gain of 24 seats to take over the House.
What is their strategy?
1. They, along with all their MSM allies, are unceasingly attacking Trump/GOP from every angle. If Trump can only drum up 50% approval in these counties where he trounced Hillary then the GOP is in trouble. Do you think this is going to stop? No way. Its a working strategy.
2. They are looking at the math to find the “low hanging” fruit. Of these 241 seats there are 43 (based on the 2016 general results) where a flip of 8% of the vote from Republican to Democrat would turn the Republican seat into a Dem seat. Suppose a Republican won by 15 points - 57 to 42 - then a flip of 8 gives the Dem a 50-49 margin and election victory. Do this on all 43 and you give Nancy Pelosi a 237-198 margin over the GOP.
It could go even worse than a flip of 8 points so don’t take anything for granted. Also don’t forget that in 2006 they gained 31 seats, in 1974 they gained 49 seats, in 1964 they gained 37 seats, and in 1958 they gained 49 seats. And last of all please don’t forget that almost every asset class (i.e. stocks, bonds, real estate, etc) is at record high valuations & that a market correction or crash can greatly impact election results. In 1930 the Dem’s gained 52 seats followed by a gain of 102 more (if you count DFL in Minnesota) in 1932.
How can the GOP win?

1. Real jobs growth in product development & manufacturing, particularly in the rural areas of the USA.
2. Real reduction in government red tape, particularly in health care & rural areas.
3. Real health care reform (see the 10th Amendment to the Constitution) and start enforcing the laws on anti-trust, price gouging, etc. against med-pharma . Work hard to ensure we have better laws on pricing transparency. It only takes a one sentence “no provider shall be allowed to collect payments on price gouging above Medicaid/Medicare rates” law to put an end to some much BS on this.
4. Keep emphasizing how the MSM is wrong, wrong, wrong & how they, Dem’s, and the neocons have put “America Last” for so long.
5. Keep remembering how the MSM is trying to shape the news/agenda according to their own ideas. For example, on TrumpCare they keep talking as if the Senate is a place where you need to get 50 out of 52 votes on everything as if its a “done deal” that all 48 Dem senators (including the 10 in States that Trump won whose seats are up in 2018) are just going to sit by and watch the bad laws/policies of the Obama era, such as ObamaCare, destroy the country. DO NOT LET THE MSM shape the news agenda.
“Now, if they will only do one more thing, and help us rid the Republican Party of the RINOs and GOPe so Trump can actually accomplish ALL of his goals, we can be proud of them. Come on Kentucky and Wisconsin, have the balls to get rid of Mc Connell and Ryan for starters.”

I’d believe it! I remember watching some of the national and local Talking Heads over the 4th of July weekend.
They just could NOT understand why travel was UP so much from about 10 years previous. It boggled their little pea-brains (well, those of their SCRIPT WRITERS) that Americans had some jingle in their pockets, gasoline prices were lower (Drill, Baby! Drill!) and they had HOPE that even MORE Prosperity was on the horizon!
Unbelievable.

Though I could envision a, ‘Don Jr.(R) v. Ivanka (D)’ smack down in the future! ;)
