Unless Comey describes his relationship to Hillary, Bill and their Whitewater mess and how he helped them skirt the law - his book will only be a work of fiction.

I thought Obama’s administration was the most transparent ever! Why do we need to read a book about it if it was?

Big surprise. I heard insider claims months ago that a future six-figure book contract was offered to Comey as part of a bribe deal to insure that Hillary skated and Trump was undermined. He did his masters’ bidding, and now, right on schedule, their friends in the liberal publishing industry are writing his payoff check for them under the guise of an “advance.”

The state or, to make matters more concrete, the government consists of a gang of men exactly like you and me. They have, taking one with another, no special talent for the business of government; they have only a talent for getting and holding office. Their principal device to that end is to search out groups who pant and pine for something they cant get, and to promise to give it to them. Nine times out of ten that promise is worth nothing. The tenth time it is made good by looting A to satisfy B. In other words, government is a broker in pillage, and every election is a sort of advanced auction on stolen goods. ― H.L. Mencken

Likely. These huge advances can’t possibly pay off in book sales. Something else is going on. It’s the same way with million dollar speeches. What can a million dollar speech do for your company that a few $50.00 reference books can’t do? Political influence.

The Complete Perversion of the Law
But, unfortunately, law by no means confines itself to its proper functions. And when it has exceeded its proper functions, it has not done so merely in some inconsequential and debatable matters. The law has gone further than this; it has acted in direct opposition to its own purpose. The law has been used to destroy its own objective: It has been applied to annihilating the justice that it was supposed to maintain...
