Yes, Saturday 1-3 on WBEN AM 903 Buffalo
Listen live on WBEN.com
Gotta get ‘em when I can. LOL! Especially with FR being so wonky!
I hate coydogs more than coyotes because they get out during the daytime and they aren’t as timid. They’ll get close to the house. Now that I know this one is around, the cats aren’t going outside any more until I know it’s dead. I’ve kept them in this week due to it being so hot so they were safe today.
That deer got one really good lick on the varmint’s backside. Almost flipped him butt-over-head. LOL!
It’ll be nice if y’all can stay in the 90s the rest of the summer and not have to deal with those 100+ temps again. That’s just too hot.
Thaaaaaannnks.... ;)
It’s field corn and goes to Tyson to be made into food for livestock. They have a feed plant here. LOTS of farms across the county so it makes sense they built it here.
No kidding! LOL!
I keep stepping outside to listen to the katydids and wasn’t paying attention to where things were at the time.
67.....I long for 67. I hope you really took it in so you can remember it in the heat.
I’ll be going to WY in a couple of weeks. REALLY looking forwar to that and I sure hope they don’t have a heat wave while I’m there! LOL!
Good evening, MountainDad. SSGT Dusty doing well at home?
Would your hubby kill the thing? I hate that your kittehs can’t even be safe in their own territory. Guess that’s part of living in the country! Glad the deer got his shot in. LOL!
All next week it shows low 90s and I can handle that...as long as the humidity doesn’t get too high.
I found a Johnny Rocket’s pic and will post next week.
Going to Wyoming! WOO HOOO for you!
I’ve seen two coyotes here at the edge of my patio.(I live in town but it is all woods and a small ravine behind me.)
One looked like it might be a mix... Ugly animaals.
It made me feel better about making my kitties indoor cats.
He darn sure would if he gets the chance. Not a farmer around here who wouldn’t.
The problem with coydogs is you don’t have to live in the country to lose pets. They aren’t timid and go into populated areas. A friend who lives in Orlando saw her little dog get snatched out of her fenced-in back yard by one of the vile creatures.
Sounds like we’ll have pretty much the same temps the next week. Hot fun in the summertime. LOL
Yes, if you know coyotes are in the area, keeping your kitties inside is the best idea. No fun having nightmares about it when you lose one (or more) to those nasty creatures. We’ve lost a few cats to them. :-(
WOO...look forward to seeing it!
I wish we had Johnny Rockets here. It’s a real retro place and the food is very good! Went to them in CA and in FL...when visiting my son. I can hardly wait to see them again. Since they moved, it’s impossible to just take off for a weekend and drive. Now I have to fly and I absolutely HATE the TSA. LOL!
Indeed! I saw my first critter in ages today... a cute baby raccoon was sniffing out the patio...I used to feed them but one year they started unhooking the bird feeder in the tree and broke my squirrel guard and after 3 falls.. my unbreakable tube feeder. They lost me after that..
The fox mom and kits were a rare sight but I did see them a couple of years. Too cute!
I hope you can rid the area of his butt! He’s nothing but trouble for all the animals around!
Our forecast is calling for “isolated” showers, which means zippo...zero....nada. Or it’ll rain out in some godforsaken pasture that doesn’t even support a cow. LOL!
LOL! You don’t want to feed raccoons if they show up. You’ll have nothing but problems because they’ll expect to be fed. You weren’t feeding them regularly enough so they went after your bird feeder. They’ll get into anything and everything.
We have them around here aplenty and Hubby shoots them with rat shot to discourage them from coming back. Stings their hides.
There are a couple of foxes that show up periodically and we don’t mind them. They don’t bother the cats or anything else. They usually show up when our pear trees drop their fruit and they eat the fermented ones. DRUNKS! LOL!! As are the deer, squirrels, crows, possums ..... hilarious to watch them stagger off.
We got rid of one a couple of years ago and will do what we can to eliminate this one too.
Isolated showers is what we’ve had the past two days but chances are up to 50% tomorrow and Sat. Maybe we’ll get a hit or two.
Really don’t want rain Sat. because we’ve been invited to tour a local man’s antique car collection. You recall Hubby went to Detroit a few weeks ago with a buddy who has the two rare cars? The car club he belongs to was invited and he invited us to go along. I’d like to drive Baby. We’ll all go regardless but it’ll be more fun if everyone’s in their classic cars rather than everyday cars.
Evening, Beach! How’s summer been?
Oooo...that sounds like lots of fun! I hope it clears so you can drive Baby! Gotta show her off a few more times, right?
Guess I’d better go. I’m not sure why I’m sleepy, but I am. LOL! See ya mañana? Tunes night!
