He suspended the Legislature, the courts were purged and now give any decree he requests, the rule of law is no more, he has imprisoned all his opposition and indiscriminately shells civilians in villages in his own country and in Neighboring Syria. Anybody anywhere who disagrees with him is suddenly declared a terrorist
In term of human rights, Erdogan is largely irrelevant. No nation with a significant proportion of mohammedans can allow any significant portion of human rights. Their satanic religion doesn't allow for it.
