I’m an American and will always be an American. I vote as an American and have always voted as an American. Unfortunately political hacks in numerous States have gone and F*%#ked up the system to try an benefit one political party or the other. I am registered Republican because you must be registered either as a Republican or a Democrat to vote in Pennsylvania primary’s. That sucks! As a citizen I should be able to vote in all elections, primary’s or other.

You can.

Primaries are not elections; they are private organizational proceedings. Recall that the parties even have their state primaries at different times.

Only special elections to fill Congressional vacancies, general elections, and runoff elections to reach majority are true elections that are held at one time in a state.
