Perhaps it’s time to dust off your old copy of “Atlas Shrugged”? When Ayn Rand escaped from the Soviet Union, she spent the rest of her life defending the United States of America, the Constitution, the ideas of Aristotle, John Locke and her own philosophy of reason, reality, rationality and Capitalism. But she saw it was a losing battle because the Conservatives, her allies against Communism, did not defend Capitalism and Liberty from fundamental philosophical ideas. Thus our President speaks of God as the ideas of the Enlightenment dim in the West. I applaud Trump for naming the battle, but know we cannot win without naming the Philosophy which gave rise to the War of Independence then the construction of a Constitutional Republic. Trump is pushing back and buying the West time to live and fight for America. But his lack of a principled defense of freedom is and has been the West’s downfall for decades.

Is this the first time they have actually listened to one of Pres. Trump’s speeches?

I still believe Trump will become one of the greatest presidents we have ever had.

I also love Mart Laar and Milton Friedman speeches. Mart Laar once quoted Reagan as asking what the difference is between a marxist and anti-marxist. The marxist will read the books of Marx and the anti-marxist will understand them. I love that speech.

"Mart Laar at the 2006 Cato Institute Milton Friedman Prize for Advancing Liberty Dinner" Look it up and watch it because you will truly enjoy it.

That said, don't read Mark Steyn! He has convinced me that western civ is a goner. I Hope he is wrong.
