Green Tech was not about selling electric cars. It was about selling visas to investors. McAwful was involved because he could lobby govt to expedite the visas.

Partially true...It seems the EV car company was the scam to attract investors for a $500,000 or $1,000,000 investment in return for an EB-5 visa.
The scam company got taxpayer dollars from Mississippi and I suppose from some investors seeking EB-5 visas.
