Shortening the video is editing. They did this on purpose to support the political message that these people are trying to mislead the public with.
My personal opinion is that using the broadcasting systems to manipulate the public politically with clever edits or omissions, ought to be illegal.
The public believes they are getting the whole truth, and they make their voting decisions based on what these media people are telling them. When media people deliberately omit or manipulate the information so as to promote a particular political agenda, they are in effect tampering with elections.
The Founders created the First amendment with the intention of making certain the public can hear all sides of a debate. Modern technology and monopoly has given us a system now were the public can only hear the Liberal side of any debate.
It is in effect, a threat to the Democratic system upon which the Republic is expected to function. We simply cannot operate correctly with one political party controlling all effective access to the public.
CNN Airport. Those airport TV's seem to be an owned franchise. CNN probably owns the TV sets at the airports too.

There were numerous non-mainstream media outlets that were hostile (i.e. truthful) to the Obama administration, but can anyone imagine any of these outlets being allowed to attend Obama-era White House press briefings?

Thank you! It is a point I have been trying to make over and over again since 1992. The existing system of total Liberal control over the airwaves is in fact a threat to our Republican system of government.

Of course they edited it. If part of the video was removed, that constitutes an edit.
When you’re stuck in the mud or snow, you keep pressing on the throttle hoping to gain some traction. The results are that you keep digging the hole deeper until you reach the point where no motion is possible.
Obviously, they have not learned that lesson, nor have they devised a means of escape.

ON the other hand, Trump was probably worried that the lady would reach out to him, and if he wasn’t ready, he’d be accused of “refusing” to shake her hand.
