Where in the Bible does it say that if you sin, you should blame somebody else for setting you up? That’s what Adam did, right? He blamed Eve. Do you take that as a positive example? I.e.: do you believe that if someone sins, they should use Adam as the role model, and identify somebody else/a convenient scapegoat as having set them up?
This is why Francis is so popular among journalists.

I understand your points, though, in your opinion it's all about the money and your own law being superior to God's law.
Luther is no more responsible for a Catholic sinning than Eve was responsible for Adam sinning. If a person decides to sin, of course they would prefer to identify and blame a scapegoat. But nowhere in the Bible is that practice justified. It’s just a weasel way of attempting to shirk the blame.
