While CNN withers amid the biggest journalistic scandal in the networks history, network president Jeff Zucker has turned to the New York Times for help. I dont sleep that much anyway, Zucker told the Times Michael Grynbaum in a rare interview in his office on the fifth floor of CNNs Midtown Manhattan, New York City newsroom. Grynbaum noted he is not getting a lot of sleep lately, either something that comes as the network faces what amounts to perhaps the biggest scandal in journalism historybut definitely the biggest in CNN history.
Three senior editorial staffers at CNNa Pulitzer Prize winning editor, a Pulitzer Prize nominated reporter, and the head of the networks investigative reporting unitresigned over a week ago as a result of an embarrassing retraction of a very fake news hit piece on President Donald Trump and his associates.
CNN was forced to retract the faulty hit piece after a Breitbart News investigation discovered the entire piece was untrue.
From there, the network has spiraled into chaos that has lasted nearly two weeks. The chaos is fueled by further mistakes: a lack of transparency from the networks public relations team and from Zucker, a refusal to course correct away from deep problems with journalistic integrity inside CNN, and by more damning revelations about CNN including from undercover videos of CNN producers and talent published by James OKeefes Project Veritas.

Birds of a feather
Flock together
Why they can’t sleep?
JOB 33:14-18
14
God speaks again and again,
though people do not recognize it.
15
He speaks in dreams, in visions of the night,
when deep sleep falls on people
as they lie in their beds.
16
He whispers in their ears
and terrifies them with warnings.
17
He makes them turn from doing wrong;
he keeps them from pride.
18
He protects them from the grave,
from crossing over the river of death.
Amazing passage. Thanks!
He should go on Keith Olbermann’s so-called show.
Perhaps the NYT will suggest a new motto for CNN—”We lie for food.”
The Slimes will just tell them to do what they all already do anyway-just brazen it out and lie, lie, and lie some more. Oh, and when you’re on the defensive, always attack.
CNN is in trouble but does not do anything without approval ... follow the $, break out the popcorn.
Written before the GIF extortion scandal broke. I don’t think Zucker has any real idea of the dung-storm that’s building. And there’s no excuse for it.
BREAKING NEWS
CNN just bombed an aspirin factory in Somalia in an attempt to change the subject on #CNNBlackmail
Internet: Oh, really?
Scott Adams (Dilbert) posted this a little while ago posted::
“On a totally unrelated topic, I have confirmed that 30% of the public cant identify a joke without the help of a service animal.”
It appears the powers that be at CNN have a desperate need for vast herds of service animals to identify humor.
The WaPoo is already into that.
With Trump out of town they feel immune. Within a very short time they’ll trot out the “Trump’s fault” meme.
Something may be afoot. Check the AP story posted by Oli this cycle just before this one.
correction that’s Olog Hai not Oli
