I’m not so sure. ATT is famous for pouring their earnings back to their shareholders. And they have been paying it back as a pretty nice 5% or do dividend for quite some time.

These guys aren’t stupid. They are much more likely to start firing people at CNN than they are to go with the crappy status quo.

EXACTLY!!!....Pay the shareholders a few billion more every year and concentrate on the business's you have!!!....

Same for the big Banks....Break ‘em up and let them concentrate on what they do best..bring back Glass-Steagall...
