“Shoot it down” would have been an overt act of war by the US against North Korea. Thus that is why it was merely watched.
Fox News reporters often are sloppy and often are not current with topics they cover.
I doubt Catherine Herridge would’ve made that mistake.
Glad you find that incident, resulting in the deaths of at least seven sailors, amusing. The USS Stark and USS Cole must’ve had you wetting your pants.
Causus belli
The missile had a rocket engine ...
“Maybe they did try to shoot it down and missed.”
So here’s the response to North Korea:
“The next missile you send up the US is going to assume it has a warhead on it. We will shoot down the missile then launch one of our own. The ball Dennis Rodman gave you is now in your court.”
“In this particular case, they chose to fly it almost directly straight up, and then pretty much straight back down.” — from US comments on the missile. This could be why it was not shot down.
Watch closer Jeff. An EMP would be devastating.
I believe that the facts are all being counted, listed, and catalogued for that moment in time, when we call the bluff, and announce on the world stage of actions already under way.
...and why even confirm that we CAN watch these events!!?
“Loose lips sink ships” after all
