Lots of places I can’t afford to live.
Right. When I was growing up we lived where ever we wanted.
I lived in a tent in the mountains one winter. I lived in an abandoned house in Montana one winter were we went 6 weeks without it getting above zero. The house had heat but my room didn’t. It had ice on the walls 1/2 thick. But at least I had my own room. That only happened a couple of times. I usually slept on the floor somewhere.
I lived in a railroad boxcar. I lived in a car.
If anyone ever says white privilege in front of me I am going to bust their face.
I can’t afford to live in this house where 4 generations lived. Every dime is squirrelled away for taxes. One year, I had $7 left after taxes. Woo hoo, white privilege!
