The Canadian government will apologize and give millions to a former Guantanamo Bay prisoner who pleaded guilty to killing a U.S. soldier in Afghanistan when he was 15, an official said Tuesday.
An official familiar with the matter told the Associated Press that Omar Khadr will receive $8 million. The deal was negotiated with Khadr’s lawyers and the Canadian government last month.

The families of the two soldiers sued and won for 132 million BTW. They will never see a dime.

Ahmed Said Khadr, AKA Abu al-Kanadi, director of Human Concern International, a Canadian charity “financed by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA),” had close contacts with al Qaeda terrorist network as early as 1988, and with Osama Bin Laden before then. He would later become a “key figure in the Canadian al Qaeda network.”
In Peshawar Khadr worked with the Benevolence International, a member of which would later direct the Illinois -based charity that American authorities claimed served as a funding conduit to Osama bin Laden. Apologize and give 8 million... So now we can’t take Canada as a rational and reasonable ally?
In other words, Trudeau is paying, using the Canadian citizens’ tax money, terrorists to kill US soldiers. Will he pay for killing US citizens too?

Born in Canada and was in Afghanistan when he was 15? Can’t find the date of the killing of our soldier.
This is SICK and I hope the family of the murdered soldier continues their lawsuit....
