Living in the repressive Soviet of Washington I’ve learned how to hide in plain sight. Mindful of my surroundings, adopting the local coloration, and a little bit of that “These are not the drones you’re looking for” Jedi magic help me to navigate the hostile waters.
Back on topic, one of the data points I like to toss out there to the leftards is the fact that the $15 minimum has caused a de facto wage freeze for the rest of the market. This means that the guy who worked his azz off to get to $16/hr now gets to see the slackers “earning” almost as much as he - and that he’ll be working at the new bottom end of the scale for a very long time - thanks to them.
The FUD value is enormously entertaining.
Hmmm. Gotta see if there is a push here in NV (a serious one) to get to $15/hr. Wouldn’t want the clerks at the pot dispensaries to suffer and be unable to buy what they’re sellin’. We passed by one in downtown Reno yesterday and it looked like In&Out burger with the lines waiting.

This is similar to the Berkley mayor and San Jose police chief telling police not to intervene while liberals attacked conservatives. Unacceptable “weight” in favor of one political group to the detriment of everyone, though in Seattle’s case, the result is poverty, not violence.
