White House aide Sebastian Gorka claimed in an interview aired Sunday that mainstream news media are losing influence, citing recent resignations at CNN and cuts at The New York Times.
To those supporters of the Trump administration who are worried by all the fake news reporting of the last 23 weeks, I can assure you, just ignore it, Gorka, who serves as deputy assistant to President Trump, told radio host John Catsimatidis on AM 970 in New York.
The fake news complex is collapsing in on itself. We see that with the massive scandal at CNN, having to fire people who were generating totally false stories about the administration. We see that with the severe personnel cuts at The New York Times, he continued.

After their monumental failure to even come close in their election predictions, who believes any of their coverage and their phony polls now?
American Pravda: CNN Producer Says Russia Narrative bullsh*t"
Yep.
The collapse of the Ministry of Propaganda is what will save America.
The media know that it’s true, which is why they are freaking out.
Let’s not forget certain politicians from NY.
I watched some new ones put together since the election.
The media completely outed themselves to the world last November.
The Young Turks hold the prize though. They are the left.

Funny that the liberal media is painting the picture of Putin being string and Trump being weak and Putin being strong with leverage. Nothing could be further from the truth. Putin is mired down in Syria and has a collapsing economy. He’s stuck w Assad and Iran.
Nikos!
Was thinking of you this morning—don;t see you around so much!

I love Gorka. I’ll add that the function of media does not include having influence. The media’s function is (should be) to inform, not to influence.
That’s what Trump is fighting - he’s not fighting the media, he’s fighting the media trying to influence the world.
He’s not talking about fire arms he’s talking about brains.

At last?
We’re getting there bert. I’m guessing CNN will try to reinvent themselves and Zucker will be fired. NY Times has lost a lot of influence and is in financial trouble. Washington Post will likely survive as is for the indefinite future, MSNBC is getting stronger, and will be around for a while. The big 3 broadcast networks are completely missing the boat on news reporting but they are pretty firmly entrenched. Fox News is strong and still at least pro-Trump or, at least, 50% fair to Trump
I don’t have a feel at all for internet news. Apparently a very large portion of the citizenry get their news from Facebook, but I don’t know the split of accurate reporting vs fake reporting linked up there. Last I checked Yahoo News was the most visited news web site which is not good, but Drudge is a behemoth. And, best of all,we have Free Republic and Breitbart.
Rush was probably the main force in getting the turmoil started, but Trump is getting it done, often with 140 characters or less.
