If western civilization and Christianity are to survive in Europe it will be in Poland and Hungary.

Well this American is, and I wouldn't mind if he stopped in Budapest and Prague while he's at it.

Poland has suffered multiple waves of the Mongolian horde.

They’ve got good reason to stop them at the gates.

In a rather dismal world, eastern Europe is the one shining spot of Western civilization and hope.

Poland's leadership sees Trump's visit as a diplomatic coup because it indicates tacit approval for its policies, and comes before he meets with leaders of staunch U.S. allies Britain, France and Germany.

If the EU is to survive, it will have to copy Poland's conservative policies. The EU days are numbered and it may be too late for them, because they are too far down that "slippery slope."

Trump understands the Cold War and how Poland stood alone against communism. They are leaders. They are our allies. Trump is asking them to again stand alone in Europe against the muslim wave of invaders. Hungary will join Poland to block the overthrow of Europe. God knows the Germans, Italians or French won’t.

Didn’t Putin instruct Trump not to go? Obama never went there, and it’s dead cert Hillary never would have.

I am happy about it. Wish he wasn’t going to Hamburg for the g20, I worry about his safety there.

If it wasn't for Poland Europe would have been Islamic hundreds of years ago.

Great movie about it:

I’m happy too making the opposition unhappy is part of winning. And I’m not tired of winning.

Being bordered on both sides by countries that have tried to wipe them off the face of the earth, tends to sharpen one's sword, I'd think.

I like the Poles. Good people, business dealings that I've had with them are direct and to the point. And, they like Americans.

If any country knows the evil and stupidity communism has inflicted upon the world, liberalism, because of its insidious nature, being amongst the worst of it, Poland and most of the other “Eastern bloc” countries fully comprehend it. Not hard to see those countries will be the staunchest US allies in the future. That’s why Trump is going there first: to cement that new alliance and send a signal to liberal Europe to stop being the asses of the world and choose their friends more carefully in the future. Will they? Their record isn’t good.

Thankfully Poland will straighten Trump out on this pope.

Trump needs to vet who it is at the White House that gives him counsel on all things Catholic out of the Vatican. This pope is defying the Church and dismissing Tradition, so to treat him as an honest broker is a mistake for Trump.

We’re looking at a pseudo schism, already, between the Church of millenia and Jorge’s progressive team of destroyers. Trump recognizes instinctively what’s truth and what’s fiction. Jorge isn’t teaching truth.
