Holy God,
On this Independence Day weekend, we think about the faithfulness You have shown this nation from its very beginning. Though we are celebrating our country’s independence, there is heaviness in our hearts for America because we know that as a nation, we have moved away from You. Our churches have grown lukewarm; and the continual effort to remove Your Name and Your teachings from our culture persists. Father God, please bind up the wounds in America. Please use all that has been intended for evil and make something good from it as only You can. Please lead us to repentance, Lord---one heart at a time.
So often we try to be wise in our own eyes instead of trusting in You with all our hearts. So often we seek the ways of the world and the counsel of the mighty instead of the wisdom that is from everlasting to everlasting. Father, surely You are the answer to our struggling and divided nation. We struggle because we have allowed the wisdom of this world to replace the true wisdom that can only come from You. How foolish we are to think that Your ways are outdated and Your truths no longer apply to our daily lives. Forgive us, Lord. We know that neither You nor Your truths ever change. Help us, Father, to stand firm on Your wisdom and truth all the days of our lives.
We ask Your powerful blessings upon our President, Vice-President, the cabinet members, our legislators, and our judges. Father, help each one to answer to You first, and then be responsible to the American people. May each seek the wisdom that is from above and may their hearts continually express gratitude to You because of the blessings we have here in America. May Your angels surround all of these elected officials and their families, and may peace prevail in their homes and hearts.
Lord, may Your wisdom dwell with our military men and women, that their ways may be full of pleasantness and their paths filled with peace. So often those who return home struggle to be set free from the trauma and strife that was so much a part of their lives in the service. Lord, separate them from all bondage and strife and grant them the beautiful peace that can only come from You. Teach them in the way of wisdom and lead them in right paths.
Blessed are You, our immortal, invisible, always wise God. We exalt Your Name forever and ever, and we thank You for always being willing to share Your wisdom with us. Guide us, Great Jehovah, that we may honor and bless You. May Your truth go marching on in America, and may You help this nation to be restored as an ambassador of Your hope. In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

AMEN, Faith, to that mighty prayer!

FATHER GOD,
Return AMERICA to the faith of our fathers who sought Your Will and Way in all aspects of their lives. May AMERICA once again shine the light of Truth to all nations.
You promise, “If My people who are called by My Name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and change their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive the and heal their land.”
Hear our cry. Give us courage and strength to change our wicked ways. Forgive us. Heal our land.
Blessed is the nation whose GOD is the LORD. In You we place our trust. Thank You for our brave men and women in uniform who selflessly preserve the peace and defend our nation.

HOLY FATHER, with Your help we have managed to once again arrive at a date of her birthday celebration. Many of us felt she had seen the last of those considering how she was being fundamentally changed and ripped apart by little devils who are “anti’s”
We celebrate this day and realize that it can be observed only due to YOU, Father. You, the foundation of this nation. We rejoice in knowing our founding fathers knew You well and wished to follow Your laws. Thank You Father, for Your continued watchful eye over all. Thank You for our President. We ask You to bestow on him Your wise words and a strategy to return to the basics as was written by those Founding Fathers.
Open the eyes of those unable to see, open the hearts of those unable to care, open the ears of those unable to hear. We long to see a revival in this nation of a population once again turning their faces toward You and rejoicing in YOUR name.
Having more than once been told that we were no longer a Christian Nation, we, followers in YOUR name wish to praise, once again, that WE ARE STILL A CHRISTIAN NATION. Our numbers may have fallen, but we are are still here and counted. We BELIEVE.
We pray in JESUS’ name.
