It would be cool if they blew themselves up to avoid capture.

General Mad Dog Mattis, that old softy:

“We have already shifted from attrition tactics, where we shove them from one position to another in Iraq and Syria, to annihilation tactics where we surround them. Our intention is that the foreign fighters do not survive the fight to return home to North Africa, to Europe, to America, to Asia, to Africa. We’re not going to allow them to do so. We’re going to stop them there and take apart the caliphate,” said the General.

I'd say that was pretty clear, myself. I certainly wouldn't want to suggest otherwise with Mattis in the room...

Mattis told the entire world what was going to happen on 5-29-17.

“Our intention is that the foreign fighters do not survive the fight to return home
to North Africa, to Europe, to America, to Asia, to Africa, we are not going to allow them to do so,” Mattis said.
“We are going to stop them there and take apart the caliphate.”

Well? What are we waiting for? Are we going to “starve” them out, only to discover they’re long gone.

Again, what are we waiting for?

Has anyone developed a drone with loudspeaker? Could torment ISIS scum in every block of the city by flying drones around blasting humiliating propaganda messages that they could not escape from!!

The plan from the beginning was to draw the terrorists in and kill them.
Obama screwed it up with his swipes at Assad.
Now it’s back on track.

Funnel these last ISIS SOB’s into a single area the size of a MOAB blast kill radius and than pickle one or two off. Turn the blast area into a pig farm afterword!

NO. They are not using ISIS and Anti Assad Jihadi Militia’s.

The Kurds and US Spec Ops are way ahead of idiot reporters. They have done this before, not on this large a format but Manbij was fairly large. It will work.

YPG have turned this routine into an artform.

As per Trump and Mattis. The military will kill or capture all foreign ISIS fighters. Some ISIS fighters have surrendered. Conscripts, children taken in battle, local idiots. Past that, they will be killed or jailed. No more catch and release.

Russians said they killed Al Baghdadi about 2 weeks ago in an air strike. I have not seen proof yet.

Another high ranking ISIS was captured, not been revealed who yet.

I was on the tractor today. But here is the latest map for Raqqa. And contrary to the news, Turkey and their militia’s are still shelling Kurd villages. So much for peer pressure of NATO meeting on Turkey.

Yesterday, statement was made that SDF controlled 25% of the city, but I think it is not an issue of area, but an issue of importance. To me it looks like they are going directly for the center of City. Old City on the east side and Government offices on the West side of center of city area.

Good news short time ago.

More than 160 Russian soldiers and a column of 10 tanks and 25 mortars entered #Afrin.

Looks like YPG might get a little help. I doubt Turkey wants to shoot at Russia. Putin still remembers Turkey shooting down one of his planes. Oh, NO. He does not forget.

“The forces need to go house to house and sweep Ragga. “

Screw that. Send in the B-52s. Level the place. Wait a couple of days, then do it again.

Then nuke it.
