Even Trump Can't Make Goldman Sachs Popular
Ann Coulter ^ | June 28, 2017 | Ann Coulter

Posted on 06/30/2017 5:00:25 AM PDT by Oshkalaboomboom

Having pulled off the monumental achievement of getting elected with zero help from Wall Street, President Trump is at risk of throwing it all away. He seems to be turning his White House over not only to liberal Democrats, but to the very type of liberal Democrats he railed against on the campaign trail.

It's like voluntarily getting an AIDS transfusion.

Until Trump, voters had two choices: A Republican beholden to Wall Street or a Democrat beholden to Wall Street.

But Wall Street despised Trump, and he despised them. This allowed him the luxury of denouncing both Ted Cruz and Hillary Clinton for their ties to Goldman Sachs, especially Hillary's six-figure "speeches" to that investment bank.

Ninety percent of Wall Street's money went to Hillary's campaign. Wherever the other 10 percent went, it didn't go to Trump.

What does that mean?

[Fox News' Sean Hannity frantically waving his hand]: I know! I know! Since he owes them nothing and they're universally reviled, he needs to turn the keys of the kingdom over to Wall Street bankers!

No, actually. It means that he should stay the hell away from them.

The Democrats, who are evil but not stupid, know what a gift it was for Trump to have had no Wall Street support. And they are already plotting to win Trump's voters back.

A hand grenade has recently been tossed into Trump's camp in the form of Stanley Greenberg's mostly-overlooked report for Democracy Corps. Greenberg, the Yale professor-turned-Democratic pollster, has conducted extensive, in-depth interviews with the beating heart of Trump's working-class support: the voters of Macomb County, Michigan, which went for Obama twice, but then flipped to Trump.

This is part of n ongoing feud between Coulter and Hannity but she does make some good points. Why does he surround himself with Hillary donors?

There is a difference between keeping your enemies closer, and lying down with dogs. If you lie down with dogs, you get fleas.

I have heard people making comparisons to Reagan’s cabinet, and that Reagan made the call in the end. With the exception of Steve Bannon, I’m not too fond of the presence of Goldman Sachs people either.

Don’t care about a feud.

The hard, cold reality is that unless traditional America has allies that have been successful in The Swamp, the proponents of traditional America are just wasting time. The American Revolution was led by those who would have been successful in a continued colonial system. This Restoration needs the same kind of leadership; people from within the Council on Foreign Relations and Goldman-Sachs who still have principles and honor.

It is true that God may not grant us such people, but we should not discontinue the search for them.

Just out of curiosity: has Trump actually “lost” to ANYONE yet?

Think on this....

Coulter is right.

Cohn and Powell are devious Globalist snakes who wanted to be in the WH to insure Goldman Sachs's interests are protected and nothing more .
Cohn was not able to save Goldman ‘s Globalist Hell scheme called TPP or Global Warming Scam but he tried.

Both of these evil doers will slither back to Goldman just like Heidi Cruz did when she was running the Goldman protection racket under Bush but
she was amongst Globalist allies .

She is just reminding Trump to keep his promises. He is the first president we’ve had ever who wasn’t owned by either party; but he is being slow-walked by almost everyone around him who isn’t actively trying to drive him out of office. And that’s just the people in his own administration. Then there is the GOP, and the DNC, and the press. The only thing Trump has going for him is his connection with the people who put him there, who will hang with him as long as they can see that he is going to keep his promises.

What Trump has going for him is being Trump. Ann forgets that at her peril. She has been wrong so many times it would make you dizzy to follow her. Mitt Romney worship anyone?

So where were you going to go for people who really understood the banking & financial system? You need people who got to the top of those pyramids but who had original ideas and cared more about country than money.

Trump’s cabinet is composed of rich, powerful successful men/women who care more about their country than their salaries. That was part of how he chose them; they share his idealism and desire to give back using the skills and insights they have honed.

#13: "I think these GS snakes are part of the crowd that Jared and Ivanka dragged in from the Manhattan Lib set ."

Sad but true. Once the Little Princess had Steve Bannon swept aside, the real problems started. What winning there would have been with Steve Bannon advising the President instead of Jared the Boy Wonder.
