Sen. Chuck Grassley (R., Iowa), chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, has told Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein that he is worried about acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe's independence.
Grassley sent a letter to Rosenstein on Thursday about McCabe's potential conflicts of interest, Politico reports. Grassley expressed concerns about whether McCabe should have recused himself from the investigation into Hillary Clinton's private email server.
McCabe's wife, Jill, received substantial donations from Gov. Terry McAuliffe (D., Va.), when she ran for a seat in the Virginia state senate. McAuliffe was also a top bundler for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign. The Justice Department's inspector general is investigating whether McCabe should have recused himself, a fact Grassley brought up in his letter.

Oddly, Mr. McCabe was the approval authority for his own recusal memo. That document contains a number of redactions. The Committee requires unredacted copies of the document for its inquiry.
I worry about keeping RosenKrantz on with his collusions with the Deep State.

Trump needs to fire this guy. Oh, and fire Mueller at the same time. There will be an equal amount of heat, so you might as well get everything done at once.
I’ve heard that doing big things just before a holiday weekend is an effective tactic...just ask Obama.
I think Mueller, McCabe and Comey’s finger prints are all over a ton of criminal leaks, out right failures of the FBI to do their jobs and the institutionalization of pure corruption at the Bureau. They killed the FBI’s credibility that was strong for 70 yrs. in only 10yrs.
I seriously doubt anything will happen to Mueller or Comey, McCabe maybe the scapegoat but I am not holding my breath, the corruption is Washington is Byzantine like in it’s depth.
I’d fire RosenKrantz too. Package Deal, Bigly.

There’s a lot that Congress and the Justice Dept. could do, but they’re infected themselves.
So it’s up to Trump to declare total war on the swamp, enlist the American people, and force Congress and the Justice Dept. to act.

McCabe is in up to his eyeballs. Yes he also ws involved in Oregon FBI murderer agent. Didn’t know that until today.
These guys are all intertwined with the endless corruption, as zippy’s regime allowed lawlessness and a flat out free-for-all treatment of any sane rules.

Was looking for a couple of links. This FBI agent Astarita was part of the Hostage Rescue Team / there WERE no hostages as the center they occupied was closed for the winter. FBI agent lied to McCabe and he did nothing.
