London Mayor Sadiq Khan has launched a major crackdown on the "scourge" after three fatal stabbings were reported in the capital within hours of each other.
New measures will see schools given metal detecting "knife wands" and a new community sentence for those convicted of knife possession.

I have a buddy who was found to have a ceramic knife after a secondary inspection at an airport.
Worked out OK after many months.
The court dropped charges and returned his knife.

Wait a minute. I thought these Islamic knife attacks happened out in public. This knife wand thing, that implies that kids are bringing knives to school, and are stabbing people, while at school.
Has that happened, even once?
