This picture (and accompanying quote) say it all about the media. After Watergate their heads swelled and they attracted bucketloads of people who wanted to use ‘journalism’ as a vehicle to fame and importance. Many were/are driven by a grandiose self-promoting effort to ‘change the course of history’ and pump up their own importance (e.g. Mika saying that telling people what to think was the media's job).

MK had a sweet ‘gig’, and all she had to do to keep it was to play fair and retain some humility. Pride truly does goeth before the fall.
