A Transportation Security Administration employee was arrested Thursday after he was caught on video stealing cash from a bag going through screening at Orlando International Airport, Orlando police say.
Alexander Shae Johnson, 22, who had been with TSA just a few months, was arrested on a charge of third-degree felony grand theft, records show.

We followed up with TSA and it went nowhere. He was devasated, and blamed himself. He thought he let his grandchildren down.
The TSA is a useless agency. It is Kabuki Theater "security." It is a Makework McJobs program for Democrats.
Your bottle of water might be a bomb. Please place it in this trash can next to 500 people crowded together in line.
“The TSA is a useless agency”
That’s the understatement of the year, SkyPilot.
Yet they want us to check our laptops. More. Opportunity for the TSA...THIEVES STANDING AROUND. Look up computers stolen Houston airport. Going through xray machine. Poof laptops vanish. 5 arrested.
Good One!!!
But, but...”Shae J” was gettin’ his life together, scheduled to attend a local collich in the fall, trying to keep up with his child-support payments on his 9 kids (wid 7 baby mommas), gettin’ a rap band together.
His auntie is devastated.
Nothing new here. A co-worker while passing through security in Jackson MS. had his money clip stole out of the tub with the camera show it was there when it passed through. One of the TSA agents suddenly had to leave during the event. Nothing was ever done about it.
Oh and don’t forget he was going to start attending community college in the fall...was going to study to be an engineer you know.
Years back, I remember Laura Ingram talking about the Tools standing Around stealing a gold crucifix from her checked luggage that was given to her by Pope John Paul. I try not to put anything valuable in my checked baggage but it’s hard to not travel with cash, laptop, camera, etc.

You can't trust government employees in any third world banana republic.
Public amputation of the hands of TSA agents caught stealing from passengers may give the others reason to hesitate.

I was never aware people put their cash through the x-rays. I would never do that. I carry a metal money clip but I always separate the cash from it before putting the empty clip in the little plastic tubs at TSA checkpoints. I keep the cash itself in my pocket at all times. I don’t trust the people who work TSA but I’m sure some of them are good people and hard workers.
Freep the schmuck! ...
THIS is why we are driving on vacation this year. Flying is run by the Too Stupid for Arbys crowd.
I travel by car. Claustrophobia in those overcrowded jets makes me nuts, and if I was forced to sit on the tarmac in one with no a/c or a chance to use the restroom I would rip the top of the plane off.
“TSA has a zero tolerance for misconduct in the workplace”.
It sure is mighty nice of them not to condone theft by employees. I feel safer now.
Knew it without the picture.
And he would give you the shirt off someone else’s back.
