Sen. Bernie Sanders said Thursday he agreed with Democratic congressman Tim Ryan's claim that the Democratic brand is worse than President Donald Trump's in some parts of the country.
"I speak as the longest serving independent in American congressional history, the Democratic brand is pretty bad," Sanders told CNN's Anderson Cooper on "AC360."

Democrats need to "make it clear to working people of this country that the Democratic Party is on their side," Sanders exclaimed. "The Democrats need a progressive agenda. They need to rebuild the party in states they have ignored for decades, where they have almost no presence right now and create a 50-state party."

Their ideal is that the wealth should be spread across all the people and then the people will use that, along with their entrepreneurial spirit, to put it to work to get an education, invest, and create new things and that will generate new wealth. They’ll have time to self-actualize and be even more productive. The productivity from cooperation will far exceed the productivity from competition!
Unfortunately, humans (on the average—there are exceptions) just don’t work like that. Give them what they need and they stop working. Give them what they want and they become baby chicks in a nest sitting there with their mouths open waiting for food to drop in.
That’s when the second half of the socialist process kicks in: the government boot in the ass, the labor camps, the work farms, the Soviet Tractor Factory, the bans on “counter-revolutionary thoughts”, and the defining down of “needs”.

That was my thought. Bernie, an Indep. is bad mouthing the Dem machine. Although being brutally honest, when does the machine try to silence this critic and does that cause his defection and then he creates the People’s Party (well named) as his legacy to his “revolution.” His legacy took a hit at the DNC conv. when he endorsed HRC in exchange for a nice house. Then Dems become Whiggs.
It was part of the deal that helped him buy his new lake house.

?? I fail to recall a time when GOVT created anything that *wasn’t* a hindrance (if not outright suppression) to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness, let alone ‘wealth’.
To point, govt, and especially BIG govt, have created and supported monopolies (IMO, the only way a monopoly CAN exist is w/ govt support): telecomm, media, Rx, RxR, unions, etc.
Course, it was many a moon, before I was even conceived, since we’ve been a Republic, let alone a Constitutional one at that.
