But if you want to be more popular, I suggest that you rent a small motorhome, ditch your "handlers" and go on a cross-country road trip from Los Angeles to New York City. I think driving across flyover country will change your perspective on Americans in general and you might be a lot more appreciative of Americans and especially why they voted for Donald John Trump over Hillary Rodham Clinton for President.
After all, look at what happened to Michael Medved, who was a doctrine Leftist from around 17 to 24 years old. Medved's decision to go on long hitchhiking trips across the USA during his college years gave him a totally new perspective on Americans and made him wonder if the people living in New York City and the US West Coast are too much living in a "cultural bubble."
