If this is true...I might have voted "not guilty" depending on the nature (and believability) of that evidence.

Me too, that was enough to raise a reasonable doubt IMO.

I’ve read through several threads on this matter.
I have tried to consider Cosby a victim of his money and celebrity.
I have tried to consider the young woman as a victim of a predator who had money and power to avoid prosecution in the past.
After real effort, I find that I have little sympathy for either character.
Yah,reasonable doubt is the key.Nobody but Cosby and that woman know for sure what did,or didn't,happen.
Rape does occur.Some rapes consist of a guy slipping something into a woman's drink WITHOUT HER KNOWLEDGE (with her knowledge is an entirely different ballgame IMO).And some accusations of rape are false...filed by mentally disturbed women or women looking for a big payday from a billionaire.
They don’t care. As long as their hero rapists, Clinton and Cosby, go free.

He might be guilty as sin, but the women should have come forward with accusations during the first year not a dozen years after the fact.
As of Tuesday the Cosby Show was still available to stream on Amazon Prime.
While acknowledging I'm often wrong (but seldom in doubt) I believe Cosby is a sexual predator. I believe some of his accusers are telling the truth and truly victims.
Are all accusers victims of Cosby? I suspect not. And that's the rub. This trial didn't ask if he was a sexual predator, but if he did in fact assault this lady. I believe a prosecutor passed on charging Cosby at the time. If the alleged assault occurred in 2005, that's 12 years ago. Both problematic.
She got her day in court, for better or worse.

10-2 is the reason that the prosecution is going to re-try the case. If it were the 2-10, they probably would not.
Probably . .and I wonder what the 10-2 racial component was? As I recall there were two blacks on the jury
BTW, I do think the supposed continual relationship post “rape” was very important and I might have a hard time too voting for conviction.
Even though I believe that Cosby is a hypocrite and serial rapist. Who knows how many other women failed to come forward?
