Their “god” isn’t God .
It means their “god” (their allah , that’s a name and not a generic term ) is greater. Who are they declaring that he is greater than ?
It’s just like when ISIS holds up their index finger in photos . They are specifically doing it to state they are denying the Trinity.
Right, you said it meant: “God is great”, but it really means “God (Allah) is greater”. That is all I was saying.
