First, they never come up with nothing. Whenever there is a “special prosecutor” they find something. Remember Scooter Libby?

But here is the big question. In order to Obstruct Justice, there has to be something to obstruct from. What investigation was obstructed? What was being investigated? You cannot obstruct an investigation that was never happening? What court order was not obeyed? What evidence was “wiped” or “lost”?

The idea that you can investigate obstruction of justice for an investigation that never existed is obscene!!!! Before you can call for an obstruction of an investigation, you need to explain what investigation was even being conducted that COULD BE OBSTRUCTED. All we have heard is that Trump was never being investigated.

Maybe someone could clear this up for me.

In addition to the point you raise, there is also the absurdity that firing Comey stops the investigation of any case in the FBI.

To your point, the FBI is not the entity to go to, to stifle prosecution. The DoJ is the entity that would draft the criminal charge, oif there was to be any. The DoJ would be entitty that would "go easy" or "go hard" or decline, based on prosecutorial discretion.

Assuming Flynn is under criminal investigation by the FBI (a proposition that has not been established), it either completes the investigation or not, and it appears that Comey was sitting on ivestigations in order to prolong the period of time he could float guilt by insinuation.

As witch hunts go, the ones currently pushed by Congress and the press are particularly lame. They depend on a gullible public to get anywhere at all.
