During her Tuesday appearance on Fox & Friends, Laura Ingraham indicated that she wasnt super-excited about the possibility that she might replace Sean Spicer as Press Secretary.
Recent reports indicate that Spicer could soon be promoted to head of the White House communications department, and that Ingraham is one of the leading candidates to replace him at his podium. The matter attracted interest on Monday due to the White Houses off-camera press briefing, and today, Ingraham talked to Fox about how many questions shes been getting about whether there was any truth to the reported developments.
Ive always said that if its something that I think I could do well, and it would really advance the agenda of this administration at a time where I think theres so much at stake for the country and for the future, you know, I would think about it. Im not sure if thats the role I would pick for myself, but I have a legal background, strategic, you know, political communications planning. Im not sure the press secretary thing is something Im dying to do.
The Fox & Friends panel said theyd be interested in seeing Ingraham take the job, and the Lifezette editor-in-chief compromised by saying it would be fun to do every now and then, so who knows
Well then, Laura, take your name out of the hat. It’s likely your name got yanked out of the hat the minute you said this. Bye.
Oh come on Laura, who wouldn’t want to spend their days in a room full of vitriolic snarky hate filled lib media types? LOL
And it's not about you.
She’ll never take the job. Her current gig is way too lucrative.
yep Laura is worth like 50-60 million dollars, why does she need the aggrivations
Can’t say I blame her.
Who’d want to leave Gay Raymond and 3 hours a day chit-chatting about herself?
Once Spicer moves up or moves on it’ll be Huckabee’s daughter that takes over.
Ya, all of your life decisions have been so easy.
She is already juggling a multifaceted career while being a single mother of 3.
While she would be very good at it, she’s handicapped by Trump’s unpredictability, and having to defend stupid political moves.
Laura Ingraham would be an amazing choice...
Took the words out of my mouth.
Is there anyone in the world that would enjoy a job like that? It seems trying and thankless.
The survival of the country depends upon the Trump administration being successful and the demoncrat party destroyed.
What’s the rush, laura? Imirite? /s
Big step down professionally, politically and financially.
Doesn’t need the money. Doesn’t need the “fame” or image. Doesn’t need the headache.
Ms Huckabee-Sanders would be a good choice.
Smart, aggressive when needed. Can stay on-message. Good step up politically and professionally.
I’ve grown to like him.
My Gaydar went up when I first heard him but according to wiki he’s married with children:
You’ve gotta admit, the idea of reporting to Spicy is not exactly inspiring.
I stand corrected. Thanks.
That doesn’t mean a thing.
