Yep, lots of confusion about what “conservativism” is.

You can probably find a nearly identical thread on DUmp today.

Do you really want one company controlling the wealth and resources in this country? Not to mention people like Bezos and Zuckerberg will hold vast power over politicians?

You aren't looking at this thing properly. When a corporation gets too big, they become the ones who are in charge of the "Jack booted thugs."

I urge you to examine the economic model that was Nazi Germany. It featured a system based on this sort of crony capitalism between huge corporations and Government.

No, capitalism only works with a significant number of buyers and sellers. Amazon, Google, Apple and a couple of others are basically strangling capitalism into corporatism.

I purposefully avoided Amazon with my last online purchase and went with what was reported to be a reputable business. My purchase arrived in an Amazon box sealed with Amazon tape.

All natural monopolies are earned. Companies that fail to innovate and no longer serve their market’s interest perish.

Examples of former monopolies: Xerox, Kodak, MySpace, Pan Am, US Steel, etc. History is littered with these examples.

+1

Does anyone really think some government organization or committee of bureaucrats would be able to make things better?

I agree 100%!!!! Also the writer would be best served to understanding that because a company corners a market through growth and innovation does not make said company a Monopoly. A Monopoly is perfectly legal up to the point they use that monopolistic power to illegally take advantage of its customers.

While I don’t agree with his politics he offers an excellent and convenient product! If there is something better out there then stop whaling, crying, moping and flat out b!!!ch!ng. Go out and creat better.

Like I need the Governemnt to break up a perfectly run outfit so it can bring in its hammer of justice and pick winners and losers
