Palestinian history - is there such a thing? New book seeking to clarify issue comes with most pages blank. Author: 'No historical source for existence of Palestinian people.' Contact Editor Mordechai Sones, 19/06/17 21:16 Share

"Palestinian History""Palestinian History"צילום: יח"צ For less than ten dollars, a new book by Assaf Wall has recently been sold under the title "History of the Palestinian People - from Ancient Times to Modern Times."

The book contains almost 120 blank pages, implying that there is no such thing as a history of the Palestinian people.

However, he has already reached a high sales volume of books related to the Middle East on the international sales site 'Amazon'.

The author told the Mako website today (Monday) that he wanted to emphasize that there are no historical sources for the existence of a Palestinian people.

"It is possible to argue about the history of the Jewish people, and when - the First Temple, the Second Temple, etc. But in this case, the Palestinians have nothing, absolutely nothing ... This is a political invention of the last century and a few years ... You have not heard Palestinians demand a right to a state when Jordan ruled Judea before the Six Day War".

My favorite, one of the one star reviews. Not only freepers don't read the thread.

I haven't read the book since it's clearly a work of fiction. The only people ever known as Palestinians were the Jews. The name, a latinization of Philistine, was given to them by the Roman Emperor Hadrian in 135 CE in order to punish them for almost defeating his Legions. It was intended as an insult, and, because of the spread of the Roman Empire, it stuck. The so-called Palestinians of today were Arabs until Yasser Arafat renamed them in 1964. Any "history" other than this is a lie.

And from the 54 stars

Very well written. Very short and to the point. I was disappointed that it had no pictures

This is a succinct and to the point book. No unnecessary words.

Professor Voll leaves out no facts - this is the most comprehensive list of the contributions of the "Palestinian" people to humanity.

Palestinians are an invented people. They are mostly from surrounding countries, and decided to move in like bad neighbors pretending to borrow sugar, and wouldn’t leave. Yasser Arafat called himself a “Palestinian” even though he was from Egypt.

Facts? Do you want a history of Palestinians, or facts?

The book should have blank pages...there is no such thing as a Palestinian. They have no language, culture, or unique genetic signature because they are Arabs!

Now just a cotton pickin’ minit here. Let’s be fair. Palestinians do so have a unique culture. They pass out candy when a Jooo! has been killed, and they make sewage pipes into missiles to fire at Jooos! And they have their own version of Mickey Mouse. If that’s not a unique culture, what is?
