...In December, a total of 7,371 refugees arrived in this country, State Department reports show. In January, another 6,777 were admitted. By last month, however, the total number of arrivals was down to 3,989 and less than 1,700 have been admitted in the first half of June.

In New Jersey, 611 refugees were resettled last year. This year through mid-June, 201 have come to a state where the welcome mat already was less than warm. The Christie administration last year told the federal government that New Jersey would no longer will participate in refugee resettlement programs, leaving it up to nonprofit groups and churches.

Among those in N.J. helping to settle refugees include the Archdioceses of Newark and Camden, Church World Service and the International Rescue Committee.

{snip} ...Pascrell said there are 200,000 refugees in the pipeline waiting to be settled in the U.S. "We're dealing with a very difficult situation," he said.

I'm sure it must be difficult for those thinking of all those bodies and all those fees that can be charged per body and losing all that government funding because of a slowdown in human trafficking.

Government funding for refugee-settling NGOs has corrupted too many of our Christian churches.

$$$$$$$$$$$

“Resettling” would be finding a town in vicinity to their own, and supporting ‘safe spaces’ there, whether it be 10 miles away or in an adjacent country such as Lebanon. This helps preserve culture and continuity with relatives and much less funding is needed for that. What is happening, on a fee per head basis, (both for relocating and for follow-on services) is nothing less than human trafficking, including removing children to another country who may or may not belong to those claiming them as their own, and who may or may not be actual orphans and even some who may or may not even be children but represent themselves as such. Because it pays.

This may explain the hours-long pro-refugee propaganda ABC was running yesterday morning.

The "Christian" organizations got hooked on government money.

Start enforcing the existing law prohibiting new immigrants from going on welfare and requiring each new immigrant to have a sponsor
who gurantees to be financially responsible for them and we will see the flood of immigrants dropping even more.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There is a law that immigrants must have a sponsor who accepts financial responsibility for them and prohibits new immigrants from receiving government welfare and other assistance.
http://watchdog.org/67592/u-s-sponsors-immigrants-raid-on-welfare/
Sponsors have to sign an “Affidavit of Support” for each legal immigrant.
These notarized documents (Form I-864), are legally binding contracts obligating the sponsors to provide financially for the immigrants they sponsor.
Refugees are different than immigrants. Refugees get treated like royalty and are lavished largess beyond belief. The get automatic welfare for 8 years I think is the norm. And that is just for starters.
when did this term “NGO” reach common acceptance and why? Nongovernmental organization, you mean like anything that is not government? What is it exactly?
These gold digging churches were long corrupted before that.
They’ve been paid for the illegal immigrants for years.
