We have Italian extended family who own vacation homes in Kenya on the Indian Ocean. We’ve never been there, but the pictures they’ve shown us are beautiful.

There are plenty of red states with nice beaches. Why not vacation in one of them, and support the economies of the states that helped get President Trump elected?

That brought back a memory or two.
The first job offer I got when I retired in 1989 after thirty years in the Army was in Mali, and, not knowing much about Mali, I asked, "In reference to Timbuktu, where is the job site?" The valuable lesson I learned right there was if you have to reference Timbuktu to locate a job site, don't take that job.
Mali now tops the list of places I've been that I will never go back.

Because the African ones are generally safer now thanks to the rapefulgess in Europe? Just guessing.
Actually a lot of African resorts cater to unmarried and unattractive middle aged European women who are looking for a gigolo for a few weeks. The UK press does stories on it every once in a while.
Since it is impossible for Arabic to be a native African language and, since ALL libraries with any significant content of universal interest are mostly in Arabic, it would be of no interest to most Europeans and tourists from other continents.
Any tourisms (euphemism) are likely to be koranimals. With AK47s...
