No one has determined from the AIS plot when the collision occurred. The Crystal is going very slowly during part of it that looks so screwy, likely trying to render assistance.
Ignore the sensationalists that want to see something there without any info.
My hunch is the first starboard turn is where the collision happened, the rest was the ship trying to get it figured out, then coming back to help.
