There is no Kurdistan because nobody has recognized them. There ought to be. So let’s recognize them.
There is no Palestine, though several countries and the UN General Assembly has twice recognized them. But they haven’t done the necessary work to build a state, merely demanded recognition.
The Kurds are better than that. All that remains is for them to declare themselves a state, and other states to recognize them. Not necessarily in that order.

I’m pretty confident we will witness that before the end of this year in some form.

Turkish fighter jets started to shell Çukurca borderline
Jets sporting howitzers now ? Shelling with 105mm, 155mm ???

It is a translated (not machine translated) article. Turks used air assaults as well as tanks and personnel carriers for the attack. They have both ground and air components. I suspect from the wording that the ground component has howitzer support. Probably from within Turkey’s borders.

Sure hope so. Only solution to the Suni resurgence is to divide them and help out eastern minorities, such as Kurds, Copts, Israelis, Chaldaean Christians, Alawites, etc.
