The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 50% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty percent (50%) disapprove.
This is the first time the president’s overall approval rating has hit the 50% mark since late April. His approval rating has ranged from a high of 59% in late January shortly after he took office to a low of 42% in early April.
The latest figures include 31% who Strongly Approve of the way Trump is performing and 42% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -11. (see trends).
It seems the Left has again far overplayed their hand and their incessant and baseless attacks are creating a strong backlash.

Wow. This is totally different from the Gallup poll which has him at 38% (up from 36% a few days ago). They are so diametrically different that obviously one is completely wrong. It’s hard to know.
CNN says they don’t agree with Rasmussen’s methodology or cite them (which actually makes them more reliable in my book).
This is going to be like the special investigation into Bill Clinton. The public reacted poorly to it and the republicans got punished electorally. This will be much the same.
The problem is that this insanity by the left continues to mire the president’s agenda. The one thing that could get him voted out is failing to deliver on more of his campaign promises.
That’s really incredible considering the endless hysterical negative press and fake news slung at him all day every day, and also considering that none of the amazing wonder cluckers of the GOP will stand up for him in any way.
Love you, President Trump, and the rest of DC can go to Hell!
At this point, I really can’t hold him accountable for that, it’s the GOP that is a total failure.

It could if people are really so stupid they cannot see he is not a dictator and can only propose the changes he promised and then rely on his Party to implement them. He has tried to do all he has promised and he actually has been quite successful so far.
Many here seem to forget the man has been in office LESS than 5 months.
Keep in mind separation of powers. President Trump is making huge strides in the Executive Branch. People think he is responsible for creating and passing laws. This is the responsibility of the Legislative Branch. All he can do is sign or veto a bill. Repeal/Replace Obamacare, Funds to Build the Wall, Increase Military spending... he is in the back seat. Responsibility lies only with Republicans in Congress... who are hoping he fails as President.

I think the negative press is going through the law of negative returns. If it is all anti Trump all the time the drone begins to wear on people.
In the last couple of weeks I've come across a number of liberals who are finally willing to admit something that has probably been true all along:
"I hate Donald Trump but I hope he stays in office forever -- because I can't help but admit that it's been an entertaining couple of years since he announced that he was running."
Eventually these people will finally be willing to admit that they actually voted for him in 2016, too. LMAO.

This is the left’s greatest fear. Not deportations, not abortions, not global warming. Trump succeeding and becoming popular is what keeps them up at night

50-50 is OK, but what about the usual +/-5% on most polls who are “undecided”, “not sure” or “who cares”?
