I travel. I often carry guns. I stop at hotels. I don’t leave my valuable and protective guns in the car.
Obviously this guy had other things in mind. But don’t condemn stopping at hotels with guns.

My opinion on this incident has changed.
Whereas the fellow seemed to me at first to be just some guy who had a gun (like many in DC,)
he now appears to be a real kook, and a dangerous one at that.
I’m glad he’s in the pokey. Unfortunately DC doesn’t “really” have gun laws post-Heller so building a case against him will be difficult.

I get why the guns and the drug paraphernalia are in the photo as evidence, but what does a Baptismal certificate have to do with things?

...he returned to the capital and posted Facebook photos of newspaper headlines... I can see the headlines one day; "Suspect had no social media accounts. Released for lack of evidence".

Attn: journalistic geniuses at WTOP/AP.When referring to Washington, DC (you know, your hometown, where you are based), the proper term is CAPIT
OL. The word capit
al is used to represent the various state capitals.
I have only a two year tech certificate and I know this. Why don't you?
This is what happens when you outsource your editing to countries where English is not the primary language.
