Time to dispense with the notion “it’s the wicked MSM.”

It’s primarily the following corporations that are pissing in your shoes: Disney, Comcast, Time Warner (AT&T), and Viacom.

This is true but it makes one think why do all of these supposedly capitalist corporations hew the liberal line? The answer is very simple.

Our government is totally corrupt. These once capitalists understand this. They have become "Crony Capitalist" whom benefit greatly by a corrupt liberal government. They hew the line and their pockets are lined with great largess of our tax dollars.

If our great nation fails and it is near, it will be the result of a corrupt congress and an even more corrupt "deep state." The "deep state" is driven by ideology. The Congress is driven by amassing personal power. The crony capitalists are driven by avarice and the media is driven by ideology and in effect are the working public arm of the deep state.

Have those corporations divest themselves of a fair amount of media, and nothing will change.

It is the leftist “progressive” culture that infuses media. It is not “top down”. Those reporters are doing what they consider “right”.

Yes, the corporations are complicit, but there is a whole culture that allows and encourages what the corporations are doing.

Those four corporations control a lot of the leftist media, but there are plenty of other garbage spewers: NY Times, Washington Post, Huffington Post, NPR/PBS, Bloomberg, Facebook, Google, Twitter, Reuters, Associated Press, etc...

Comcast employees are all American enemies. They are out there, everyday, alone

The problem is twofold. First,
The natural disposition is always to believe. It is acquired wisdom and experience only that teach incredulity, and they very seldom teach it enough. The wisest and most cautious of us all frequently gives credit to stories which he himself is afterwards both ashamed and astonished that he could possibly think of believing. - Adam Smith, Theory of Moral Sentiments (1759)
. . . so in that sense “We have met the enemy, and he is us.” It is our own naïveté which is the root of the problem. But secondly (Smith continues),
The man whom we believe is necessarily, in the things concerning which we believe him, our leader and director, and we look up to him with a certain degree of esteem and respect. But as from admiring other people we come to wish to be admired ourselves; so from being led and directed by other people we learn to wish to become ourselves leaders and directors . . .

The desire of being believed, the desire of persuading, of leading and directing other people, seems to be one of the strongest of all our natural desires.

So first, we are a bunch of gullible suckers - and second, modern wire service journalism is a bunch of shysters out to sell a bill of goods.
“The republican principle demands that the deliberate sense of the community should govern the conduct of those to whom they intrust the management of their affairs; but it does not require an unqualified complaisance to every sudden breeze of passion or to every transient impulse which the people may receive from the arts of men, who flatter their prejudices to betray their interests.” ― Alexander Hamilton
