Condition Update on Congressman Steve Scalise

Earlier today, Congressman Steve Scalise underwent a second surgery related to his internal injuries and a broken bone in his leg. He remains in critical condition, but has improved in the last 24 hours. The Congressman will require additional operations, and will be in the hospital for some time. At the request of the family, we will continue to provide periodic updates.

Congressman Steve Scalise sustained a single rifle shot to the left hip. The bullet traveled across his pelvis, fracturing bones, injuring internal organs, and causing severe bleeding. He was transported in shock to MedStar Washington Hospital Center, a Level I Trauma Center. He underwent immediate surgery, and an additional procedure to stop bleeding. He has received multiple units of blood transfusion. His condition is critical, and he will require additional operations. We will provide periodic updates.

Indeed. I had occasion to meet Steve some 20 years ago, before he was ever elected to the Louisiana Legislature.
According to Jerome Corsi, either the DEEP STATE will be successful in impeaching Trump on fake charges or attempt an assassination. President Trump needs to announce that he is fighting back by:
1) Announcing the appointment of a special counsel to investigate Loretta Lynch’s Obstruction of Justice concerning the Clinton email scandal
2) Opening all government files and appointing a special investigator to investigate the JFK assassination....
The President needs to ignore the RINO advisers in his cabinet and get very serious about taking the battle to his political enemies.....(JFK didn’t listen to Corsi)

He is progressing about as well as can be expected. They are doing all the things they need to do to handle this type of trauma.
