I wasn’t aware that the FBI was now a 4th branch of government, a new check and balance on the presidency that is beyond his control.
In old America, under the constitution, the DOJ was clearly understood to be fully subordinate to the President. If he was thought to be corrupt, Congress had the responsibility to investigate and impeach him. That was in old America,,,
Like the Uni-Party gives a Rats ass about Truth.
Never try to reason with a lynch mob.
Trump’s biggest crime is he speaks for US and AMERICA.
Something the globalists and leftists cannot tolerate.
It’s not a matter of whether any particular act by Trump *IS* or “could be” or “might have been” obstruction. Well, OK, “might have been” is pretty important to the left.
The purpose of all these efforts in in fact to obstruct Trump. Thus, old ground, already covered multiple times has to be revisited, and we can be certain that regardless of what Mueller comes up with, will be revisited and revisited again and again so long as the revisitor believes there is political hay to be made out of bringing up what has been exhaustively settled.
Rush is doing a better job presenting the pro-Trump view than Trump. Loose lips sink ships.
Still, it’s a horrible headline.
So the deep state is going to try to build an obstruction of justice case that President Trump impeded the investigation of Flynn's connections, even though he fired him because of those connections?
Where there’s smoke, there’s a pimp.
It was the consensus of most legal scholars that Mueller would not let his potential start witness go under oath with Congress UNLESSS he was fully briefed on what Comey would testify to—and approved it. Thus the written statement which was publicly released before the hearing was surprising indeed.
My take is this: If Comey got Mueller’s approval of the written statement and testimony that would ensue from that, just how much input to the statement did Mueller have? Is it normal for a Special Counsel to have any input or approval for such a statement by a potential witness?
Since they are supposed to be good friends and were in a past relationship described as “mentoring” , doen’t ANY contact between Mueller and Comey related to his testimony before Congress bear the taint of “potential collusion”. Are we now seeing a Special Counsel guide his protoge’ though testimony that would later be used as the basis for an investigation into “obstruction of justice.”
