Person A then goes berserk accusing Person B of driving out into the field of being a danger to everyone around him because his car's catalytic converter might cause a fire in the dry grass. Person A harshly claims he has a right to be setting off fireworks if he wants to. In fact, he says, other than the catalytic converter being a potential cause of a fire, Person B's car is a cause of global warming. And, the car, when driving through the field is damaging native grasses there. The man complaining about the fireworks also has shown no regard for the poor laborers who manufacture fireworks and wants their families to starve to death.
Person B goes back home and parks his car. Meanwhile, Person A has called the authorities to press charges for harassment and to claim the man's car was spitting out sparks as it drove along and nearly caused a fire, he says. As the authorities all rush to Person B's house, Person A shoots off more fireworks and a fire is started. The fire burns the field and half of the town down before authorities can get firemen in place to put the fire out.
Some will understand the analogy and some will never get it even as their houses burn down.
... and then Person A will say “See? That’s why you shouldn’t oughta driven your car out there!”
