They will search and search until they find someone, somewhere, who mis-speaks or acts inappropriately in some way. Just look at what Comey's friend Patrick Fitzgerald did to Scooter Libby, even though he KNEW all along Libby was the not the leaker of DC cocktail circuit socialite Valerie Plame's CIA work.
