The shooter has been identified as James T. Hodgkinson of Belleville, Ill. He is 66 years old and owns a home inspection business.
According to Hisgkinson’s Facebook, he is a big Bernie fan.

The shooter at the GOP congressional baseball practice this morning is James T. Hodgkinson of Belleville, Ill., according to law enforcement officials. Hodgkinson, 66, owns a home inspection business. His home inspection license expired in November 2016 and was not renewed, state records show.
Hodgkinson was charged in April 2006 with battery and aiding damage to a motor vehicle, according to online records in St. Clair County, Illinois. The charges were dismissed, records show.

I was going to post earlier this morning that this was likely someone who was incited by the incessant fulmination of hate from the media in recent years, but I decided to hold off and just observe. It’s already starting to add up to it though. The media is radicalizing people in violent ways. Much of it isn’t quite so overt to actually recommend violence, but it’s often borderline. It’s not to hard to cite actual calls for violence though. This isn’t fringe stuff. It’s mainstream.

It was approximately two hours after Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was shot in Tucson, Ariz. by Jared Loughner, an insane man, that the left media began a campaign against the “climate of hate” allegedly fostered by, in particular, Sarah Palin. Remember the crosshairs on a map of districts targeted for GOP wins?
With the cultural grandees of New York indulging in theatrical renditions of President Trump being bloodily stabbed, there is certainly a climate of hate now. It is time for a little reflection on their part. If it turns out that the shooter was inspired by the political hate of the left, this could be a turning point in the national mood.
But it is very, very early in the story, and we should prepare for false information being discarded and more accurate information coming.

Arrest Bernie for inciting violence. There is plenty of proof on camera. Arrest BHO, too. Again, plenty of proof on camera.
While we certainly saw plenty of thug type violence during the campaign, a lot of it paid for by Democrats along with Soros and others. We are now crossing the line into actively trying to kill and assassinate elected politicians, or perhaps anyone who identifies as a Conservative and/or Republican.
Are we going to see more incidences of hard violence and assassination going forward? The Left seems to be taking it's cues from past episodes of political violence in history.
Of course we have the usual suspects talking about gun control rather the real issues. The reality is that the Left is cheering what happened today and hoping it is the opening salvo in a new chapter of political hatred and violence to help them achieve their goals of a hard left Socialist America.
Today we may mad another small step toward some sort of civil war, something no one in their right mind wants. Only time will tell where we are going.
