On Monday, Whatsgoodly released the results of a poll regarding the views of millennials on a crucial issue of governmental intrusion: do young Americans believe that the government should “remove children from homes where the parents refuse to provide resources for gender transition?”

The results are stunning. Fully 18 percent of the 1,402 respondents answered yes; another 27 percent said they were unsure. Among female respondents, a majority stated that children should either be removed from the home (21 percent), or they were unsure (33 percent). A whopping 60 percent of Clinton voters felt the same way; just seven percent of those who voted for Trump said yes, and 15 percent said they were unsure. Among self-described liberals, 47 percent said they were either in favor of government removal (10 percent) or unsure about it (37 percent).

This is a tad misleading. In what universe is fully 18 percent a majority?

Political statistics about "Millennials" are completely useless because the ethnicity of American young people has radically changed over the last 50 years.

In 2017, new 18 year old voters will be about 50% white and about 50% non-white.

That will be the highest percentage for new non-white voters in American history.

Young people tend to vote the same way their parents vote.

Young white voters consistently vote about 50% to 55% for the Republican Party.

Young non-white voters consistently vote about 75% to 80% for the Democratic Party.
